Calgary roots · Hockey driven · Design built
Built from a love of hockey.
Designed to make the game better.
BarnBuilt Hockey began by bringing two passions together: hockey and design. We are building a Calgary hockey company for players, parents, coaches and anyone who loves the game—premium equipment, practical resources and better ways to train.
Before the products
Know who you are buying from.
BarnBuilt Hockey is not here to be another logo on hockey gear. The company was started in Calgary from a genuine love of the game and a background in design—using that combination to rethink training products, simplify practice, and build resources that help hockey people get more out of every rep.
Hockey first
Every idea starts with a real hockey need, not a trend or a catalogue gap.
Designed with intent
Form, materials, replaceability and ease of use matter because details matter.
Rooted in Calgary
Our home shapes the brand: cold rinks, outdoor ice, mountain winters and a serious hockey culture.

Why BarnBuilt Hockey exists
A passion for hockey. A mind for design.
I started BarnBuilt Hockey by combining two things I genuinely care about: hockey and design. Hockey has always been more than a sport to me. It is community, discipline, confidence, problem-solving and the feeling of always having something new to learn.
My design background made me look at training equipment differently. Why should products be disposable? Why can’t parts be replaceable? Why can’t training tools be easier to understand, better looking and built around how people actually use them?
BarnBuilt Hockey is my answer to those questions—a Calgary-built hockey company focused on thoughtful products, useful resources and helping the next generation enjoy the game as much as I do.
Our home is part of the product
Calgary, Alberta. Built into the brand.
Calgary sits between prairie hockey culture and the Rockies. Outdoor rinks, frozen lakes, cold garages, community arenas and long winters are part of how hockey is lived here. BarnBuilt Hockey carries that same practical, hard-working mindset into everything we create.
Why we build the way we do →Learn. Train. Improve.
The Locker Room.
A growing hockey knowledge hub—useful even if you never buy a thing from us.
